PlayOnMac will allow you to play your favorite games on Mac easily. I was able to succesfully install diablo 2 but I cant seem to figure out how I install diablo 2's. EXE in this virtual drive - select your LOD install file, and go from there.

Quote from Blizzard »Are you having problems installing our games in the Mac OS X Classic Mode? (MAC)Blizzard now has a OS X native installer for our games which can be found on our patch pages.
Quote from Blizzard »Are you experiencing problems installing the Diablo 2 Expansion? (MAC)Either the Diablo II CD has become damaged, or you simply need to reinstall Diablo II first.Clean the Diablo II Play CD. Copy the Diablo II Music file from the Play CD to the Diablo II Files folder. Then try to install the expansion.
If the file copy fails, your Play CD has most likely become damaged. You may also try the following:- Restart with the Mac OS Base extension set (see: Extension Manager control panel)- Clean the Diablo II Install CD and the Lord of Destruction CD- Back up your existing Save folder (it is inside the Diablo II Files folder)- Delete the Diablo II folder- Install Diablo II and use the Full install option.- Install Lord of Destruction. Replace the Save folder- Then connect to Battle.net to patch up, or use the standalone Diablo II LoD Patch Update.hqx file at If that fails, you should exchange the Diablo II CDs for new ones.
Please read our replacement policy.Solution ID: 20785(Source: )I think there might be more if you look around there a little. I hope that helps.
Installing on Mac OS X Hi there! Need help here. Our 4 year old PC is slowly dying before my eyes, sometimes refusing to go past the memory count during startup. Instead of upgrading or replacing the PC, I was thinking of installing D2X on my wife's Powerbook with OSX. My question is, is it possible to install directly under OSX? I tried last night but got a message saying I needed to install version 9 to install D2X. I looked around the net and I read in the patch 1.10 info that it includes an update to get D2X to run under OSX, but that was after having installed it under 9. Any way around this? Also, can I burn my PC d2s save files onto a cd and copy them into OSX? Thanks everyone! ![]() Comments are closed.
